Our Story

Positive Piccolos

Our story begins with a passion for fostering young minds through the enchanting world of music. Here at Positive Piccolos, we believe that music is not just an art form, but a vital tool for cognitive, emotional, and social development in children.

Through engaging and age-appropriate classes, we aim to create a harmonious space where children can discover the magic of melody, rhythm, and creative expression. Chloe brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching, ensuring that each session is both fun and educational.

Join us on this musical adventure as we strive to ignite the joy of music in the hearts of the youngest members of our community.

From the soothing lullabies for our tiniest attendees to the vibrant beats for our energetic toddlers, Positive Piccolos is dedicated to making every moment musical and memorable.

Founder

Maestra Chloe-Elise

With a deep love for music and a passion for working with children, I founded Positive Piccolos to share the joy of melodies and rhythms with the next generation.

My musical journey began when I picked up the guitar at the age of seven. Since then, I’ve proudly achieved a First-Class degree in Music Industry Studies and am now completing my MA in Music Therapy. A dream come true! Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to receive training and supervision from incredible industry professionals, including Tim Hawes (Ivor Novello Award, Spice Girls) and Leddra Chapman (Ed Sheeran, Tom Jones, Ben Howard). With their guidance, I’ve written, recorded, and released songs on major streaming platforms and even organised a music event, raising over £600 for two charities.

My childcare journey has taken me around the world — from working as a nanny in Italy, to spending two months as a camp counsellor in the USA, before returning to England to continue supporting and nurturing children in their early years. Creating safe, fun, and stimulating environments for little ones has always been at the heart of my work.

One of my biggest dreams is to take Positive Piccolos abroad and connect with children and families around the world. Thanks to all of your support, I was able to take the first step toward this dream by travelling to Indonesia in June, where I volunteered in a baby home and met incredible local families in need. You can read more about this adventure here.

I can’t wait to see where this journey takes Positive Piccolos next, and I hope you’ll join me in making music a joyful part of every child’s world.
